'83 Miyata 710 or Fuji S12-S
I just finished bringing an early 80s Puch Pathfinder back to better than when first assembled and wanted to keep it, but decided to sell it to help fund another bike as well as a fixer.
So now I am trying to decide between 2 bikes for my primary road/paved bike.
Trying to decide between 2 bikes- a Fuji S12-S or a Miyata 710.
They are significantly different asking prices on CL, but both would fit(Puch was a 35” standover and 64cm).
https://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/bik/4659737027.html Fuji asking $250
https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/bik/4648054269.html Miyata asking $380
Anyone have(had) either of these that could share details and experience? I don’t think the Miyata is worth asking, but if its comfortable and fast, itd be worth offering something.
I see the Miyata has updated 600 components as the 82 catalog shows Suntour everything.
I am 6’5 220, so a frame that is strong is very important. I will be updating either bike with aero brakes and bar-end shifting, so those two things wont play much of a role in which bike to pick.

Tall Fuji S12-S
1983 MIYATA 710 Seven Ten - mint condition, stunning!
You grabbed the dash after the URL
I'm partial to Fujis, but both bikes are nice.

The Miyata is the better bike but overpriced. The Fuji is a very nice bike at fair price for a larger Tall rider.

I was figuring a $320ish max for the Miyata and see what happens.
