Thanks so much for all the good thoughts.

Sometimes there is so much negative happening in the world and our lives I think we all need to take time and notice the good things!!

See you in 5 years for the BIG one!!

Congratulations. My wife and I met on July 3, 1969, on your 5th anniversary. We were on a ship sailing from New York to Southampton.

Congratulations! I don't think I've known anybody who made it to their Golden anniversary. You might actually make it.

Next month we're at (I think) 28 years. Our friends act like that's a huge deal.

45 years- That more than a life sentence over here.

When I got married- we had to buy a licence- That cost £1 and 1/- (Old money and 21 shillings or a Guinea) A dog licence was only 7/6d (Old money- 7 1/2 shillings)

I often think I should have got a dog but 35 years later the extra expense was worth it.

Congatulations to Mrs Fox for putting up with you so long

We got married in Denver, and my name is Denver.

When we got our license, the civil service clerk got all bent out of shape because she thought we were not giving my name, but instead just repeating the name of the city where we were getting maried!!

The first of many such anecdotes.

Congrats! Hope you have many more. Ours will be 29 years come this August. My wife's grandparents were able to celebrate 77 years before they died. Paul Harvey talked about them on his show on their 75th. Warm wishes to both of you.

Congratulations to you both. We're coming up on 34, can you remember way back then?

Now I'm going to ride over to the Ice Cream stand and have a nice frozen custard in celebration!

Congrats to you and the better half.
We just passed 31 years last week. Her patience is remarkable, she raised three kids, two she gave birth too and one 21 YO she adopted...

Same here, Mrs Road Fan married a toddler 2 years younger than her. I've been trying to catch up, but its just that numbers thing again ...

Denver and Nora, congratulations, and here's to many more!

It should round up to 100% at right around 4800 years.

I'm looking forward to your age ride report at that time.

Hey, you might be sending it at the same level! Now, the question is, what will the temp be on your ride? A perfect 75, or more like 750? And if it is 750, then your ride will be all up a 15% slope, with a flat every 5 miles. Oh, and it will be on a fixie. With a carbon fiber saddle.

you forgot the horrendous head wind.

oh and before I forget... Congrat's to DenverFox and the Mrs.

That's truly quite a milestone. I too, am a kept man but have a few more years to go to match your record. I always have to take my ring off to check the dates. Let's see... taking off ring.... doing math... that will be 32... yep still got it. Just have to remember the name...

(OT did anyone hear of the poor soul who tossed their wedding band into a toll booth bucket recently? ohhh that's gonna hurt. I'd hate to have to explain that one...)

Belated congratulations to the both of you. It's takes two to tango, as they say, and no relationship lasts that long without everyone involved working at it.

BTW, number 24 just slid by for us. It was the "New socks and chain lube" anniversary. Next year it's silver.

Congrats! We celebrated 44 last month as we got my wife out of the hospital with a broken hip. Faced lot's of challenges that would have been far more difficult had we not been together. I do however think I've been married all my life
