Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

13.1 without pedals or cages. Nothing heavy on there, Nokon cables, Easton crank is light, Zero Gravity Ti brakes, 192 gram 3T bar, Red cassette... I was surprised as well.

Forgot who asked but I really like the Easton crank, their "Ceramic Teflon Treated" rings shift well and it is reasonably stiff. Watch out when putting it on any bike with a press in bb (BB86, BB30 etc.) as the crank arm may not fit over the frame. Hard to explain but let me know if you want pictures.

that line that runs from the top tube over the seat tube and into the seat stays makes it look fast.

It's a 2009 defy advanced 3. Between being on sale and pro deal, I got it pretty darn cheap. So happy with it.

Yours is very nice too. Are those ultegra or dura ace shifters?

It has been fixed. I didnt even look at it before I took the pictures, in my ecstacy I assembled as fast as possible and fired up the camera before I even played with it.

The Felt is full dura ace except for the crank, which is a compact FSA. Its a 56cm and a little long in the top tube for me. Today the bike has it's third stem. Came with a 120mm, put on a 6 degree 100mm and moved to a 12 degree 110mm. Trying to fix a numb pinky on my left hand.

The trek was a craigslist build from a NOS frame. Its got Krysium wheels, a thompson seatpost, crappy compact cranks, but I replaced the drivetrain with Utegra 6650. The TT s a little shorter, the ride plusher, and the bike a few poind heavier. But I am clearly faster on it. Probably because I am better fitted to it. and it's such a pretty thing.

It's the new 2010 Ultegra package (6700 I think), pretty nice, I got a good deal too. I originally ordered a 09 mode back in June. A few days later I get a call from the LBS and they tell me that Giant no longer makes the 09 Defy adv-1, if I wanted to wait they would give me the 2010 model at the original discounted price of the 09 model.
How could I refuse?? Great shop, excellent service!!!
