New rider from Sweden
Hey all,
I'm based in Sweden and own a vintage racer- probably a 1985 Nishiki Road Master. I use it as a commuter, so it's hooked up with a robust u-lock and mud guards and dual-purpose pedals.
I'm always competing on the roads and wish to get more into road cycling. I signed up for a 315 km non-competitive race in the summer to start it off, so I'll be converting the bike towards a sunny day racer again. I'm also into hiking, so bikepacking always seemed attractive to me. Doing that on the racer would be sub-par, so I'll likely spring for a second bike with a commuting & bikepacking setup soon! And then, a mountain bike would be nice... and maybe a fixed gear bike too... and maybe.... oh no.
