I got a Specialized Allez Elite for free but it doesn't have a saddle or the clamps. I believe it is a 2006 model. What clamp will I need to purchase? Thanks ahead of time.

You first have to determine the brand of the seatpost, Specialized didn't make it. Parts for it may no longer be available. You might well have to buy a complete new seatpost

Can you remove the post from the frame? Take it in to a bike co-op or shop and see if they have some used hardware that would match the post.

Yes, I just did that awhile ago and posted more pics to the album. Thanks for adding the pics. I found that it is a specialized post but can't read the model/type.

Unlikely that you can find those parts, but a new seatpost is easy to come by- under $20 on Amazon.

Try bike co-op, bike shop, or Craigslist. Should be 27.2 mm diameter, printed on the post near the bottom- the only critical dimension.

You need a saddle too, right?

Now I just need to see about that clamp or if there is a universal one. I guess I could buy a carbon fiber one from Amazon, seems those are more like $30 or so. I'd really like to keep the original if possible though.

Yep, new seat post and saddle and you're on your way. The remains of the existing seat post appears to have a setback of, by eye, of about 25mm. They come with various set back so you would want one that provides the best overall fit when installed. If the bike size is marginal, then the right setback may be relatively important. It may be 25 or 30 mm or no setback at all.

Is there any reason why the OP can't just use the upper clamp part and bolt/washer from another seatpost on the seatpost he has?

If I knew which clamp, this is what I would want to do.

BTW, I am totally new to these type of bikes. I'm used to the old school BMX and simple 10 speeds. They all had the same clamp on style seats like from Walmart. Thanks!

Seatposts are very interchangeable, but the clamps mechanisms are not.

Just Specialized has made at least three "fact carbon seatposts", all with different clamp set ups.

Even if the parts were found, they would probably cost more than a new post complete, not to mention the time spent looking.

Similar ones are on Ebay, but for ~ $50

Couldn't tell you. If it was me, I'd be taking it to the co op and seeing if I could find something to fit that post. Or getting a different one.

My thought, too. The seat post is not complete, and you don't normally buy separate pieces of a seat post. Just get a generic, inexpensive seatpost of the same style (not the bmx/department store style.) The diameter should be stamped somewhere on the bottom of the assembly.

Specialized confirmed this is the seatpost. Also, the stated that the part number for the clamp was W28133010 but is no longer available and hasn't been since mid 2000s. I guess I will just buy another carbon seatpost as other's have suggested.
