If anyone is interested, Scott at sexybikes has a set of the high flange Siamt hubs. He'd probably sell them.

Fratelli Brivio Hubs

The main reason that FB made hubs for so many others is that they held the patent for hubs constructed of steel barrels with alloy flanges. This was granted in the UK in 1933. I have no idea if a patent was lodged elsewhere - perhaps it was not possible to do this in Italy under Il Duce. To separate / rebuild the hubs requires them to be heated. Aluminium has a higher expansion coefficient than steel which makes this possible. Simply pressing them together without heat may not be a good idea. Anyone manufacturing hubs in this construction should have paid Brivio royalties. Did British Hub Co and Bayliss Wiley pay up ? Who knows ? To the best of my knowledge all Campagnolo Gran Sport high and low flange hubs were made by FB until about 1957 (or perhaps 1958 when the patent expired after 25 years ?). Interestingly, the internals for the hubs differ between the Campagnolo hubs made by FB and the FB branded ones. FB cones are dated – Campagnolo lock nuts are dated. To the best of my knowledge Gnutti made their own hubs. I do not think that they were made by FB as there are numerous differences.
FB also offered cranksets which were illustrated in a very lavish 1951 catalogue and there was also an article in 'Cycling' in December 1946 for what appears to be a splined BB axle. I have never seen one of these. FB cranks are quite scarce. I have never seen FB branded chainrings.
Attached copy of the patent plus images of Cycling article from 1946 and photo FB racing cranks (with TA chainring) ca.1950

Thanks so much for this information.

Regarding patent term -

In case they were able to file a patent in Italy - Have read that Italian patents were granted for a term of fourteen years and could be renewed once for a second term of fourteen years. So the final expiry date would be grant date plus twenty-eight years.

I know of one supplier in the UK who actually has cones manufactured to a very nigh standard as replacements for Campagnolo and various other hubs.
Try Chris Grange at Abel Aber Cycles / Bishops Stortford / Herts / England.
Hope that this helps

Along the way I found out that F.B. made those hubs not only for Campagnolo, but for anybody who asked.

A short list includes:

Atala √
Bartali
Bianchi √
Bob's Bikes (Bob Berghino NYC) √
Campagnolo
C.B.
Ciclo Piave
Frejus
Ganna
Legnano
Lygie
Olmo
Maino
Pinarello
Simplex √
Taurus
Umberto Dei
Viscontea
Willier
Wolsit

If anybody has photos of those branded hubs, please send them to me or post here.

Thanks
Please see my article on Fratelli Brivio on the Classic Lightweights website. It does not add to your list but may be of interest

Attached are photos of an early FB hub probably destined for South America
As S.M. said: "That is not written in Italian but rather in Spanish so you can likely surmise it was made for the then-wealthy South American market."

it's my understanding that Simplex hubs were made by FB and made in France
by license maybe? I chalk it up to another thing I'll never know. pre-war records
are spotty at best and the truthiness always has to be questioned!
