Vintage Suntour superbe Pro shifter seal rings

I have a set of very nice looking Suntour Superbe Pro clamp on downtube shifters. Only problem is the rubber seal rings are dried up and cracked.

My question is, has anyone had any luck replacing these flat orings with some typical round bodied orings?
Or does anyone have a source for the original ones?

thanks
