Sold a women’s bike :-/

Hello

I bought a bike last week, an FX 3 and today while looking at the website I realized that my bike was from the women line. It’s not the stagger type, it just has narrower rear triangle than the regular FX 3 (Without the women disgnation). It’s a medium sized frame. I’m 174 cm or 5’ 9” and I weigh 85 Kg or 187 lbs. Should I be concerned? Should I demand that they replace it for me? I searched the web and I couldn’t find an answer.

thank you

Is the fit optimal? If so, don't worry about it. Gender fluidity is hip.

Women's bikes favor longer legs relative to torso.

The saddle might be an issue (assuming you are pre-op).

What do you mean that the only difference is a "narrower rear triangle"?

That would seem like an odd difference between the two.

Bikes will have a variety of rear dropout spacing, and really would just depend on the wheelset chosen.

Current spacing includes:
130mm rear dropout spacing for "road" wheels.
135mm rear dropout spacing for conventional MTB wheels.
142mm rear dropout spacing for Thru Axle systems.
Specs can change from year to year, and sometimes the printed specs aren't accurate.

If your bike seems right, then I woudn't worry about it.

+1 Your anatomy can't read labels. If it fits, it fits. Ride more, fret less.

Metals and even carbon fiber ,, really don't have a gender ..

you can leave men's bikes in a room of women's bikes

like at night, when the bike shop closes at night,

and next morning no pregnancies or additional little children's bikes

that were not there the day before , will be found..

You obviously didn't notice when you bought it so I'm guessing it's not obviously 'feminine'. If it fits, ride it.

Guess you will have to change your handle to osama_women ;-) If it fits, fine. If you bought it from a local shop, talk to them.
