Let's see, there is the rebuilt waterfall in Wichita Falls, Texas . . . but that is a 6 hour car drive from here.
I think I'll resort to draping a water hose across the roof of my two story house and turn on the faucet. Water ought to fall right out of that hose.

Tiny waterfall in a local park, only accessible by walking down the pictured steps and walking carefully on narrow trail. The body of water in the background is the Mississippi River. My bicycle is at the head of the stairs. Location is Crapo Park (pronounced with a long Ā), Burlington, IA; named after a Civil War general

Christmas morning early at the far western end of the Columbia River Gorge.
Next up, a dedicated professional sports facility of some sort.

A dilemma..
As requester, I have to resolve this dilemma. I was preparing to accept I-like-to-bike based on overall level of difficulty and conditions when bpcyclist popped up with a single pic.
I have recruited my able assistant in a coin-tossing decision. She picked bycyclist as heads and the coin toss went tails.
Next step is for I-like-to-bike to pick a mission or accept bpcyclist's mission.
Footnotes:
1. Thank you both for the waterfall pics. I don't get to see that in the south Texas plains.
2. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Next up, a dedicated professional sports facility of some sort.
As a non entry for the mission prize, I submit a picture I took about 20 years ago that would be suitable for the contestif it was taken today.
Hockenheim, Germany F1 race track on a day when the track was opened up for bicycle riders. Bicycle is a suitably named Vaterland which I used for commuting back and forth to Heidelburg for 3½ years.

"...dedicated professional sports facility of some sort." Would the Finish Line on Boylston Street in Boston count?
And another non-entry - Pole Position Circuit Gilles Villeneuve:

I would vote YES for the Boylston St. finish line. However, this isn't my game nor am I one of the officials. Professional athletes use the Boylston St. finish line as their dedicated venue (facility) for their sport.

A dedicated professional facility would be more like a velodrome, a closed course race track, or a pro sports stadium of some sort. None of those items would be used by regular passersby for travel. I'd even think Olympic facilities (ski jumps, bobsled courses, field and track, etc.) would be in that mix.

The mission seems clear and doable to me. Although I don't know where my nearest one would be...... We have County Stadium in Milwaukee.... I need to mount my new bike rack to my car. I just got it washed yesterday so it doesn't scratch it. It's a Thule trunk rack.
Does Semi Pro count? Semi Pro baseball stadium?
And yeah, my opinion is that a street doesn't cut it. Even if it's the finish line of the Boston Marathon or something like that. But we can leave that to the discretion of the mission asker, bpcyclist. I think his opinion is what counts in this case. I'm guessing.

Too bad the local high schoolers aren't paid athletes. There is a very nice football stadium with a natatorium on the same grounds not far from me.

Speaking of race tracks, I have one just a couple km's from my home; although most of the events held there are of the amateur or semi-professional kind, at least once a year it hosts a world rallycross round. Would that count? Otherwise it's 50 km to a bobsleigh/luge/skeleton track, and I'm not too sure I want to 100 km roind trip in this weather...

"Dedicated professional sports facility of some sort" would include for purposes of this contest any minor league baseball park or its equivalent, but not a facility dedicated to a sporting activity where the coaches/training staff or only a relative few of the participants gets officially paid (like a college football stadium.) If necessary I will travel across town to where the Burlington Bees play, but I don't think that should be necessary.

Yeah, I forgot to say. HOLY WOW you got to ride your bike on Hockenheim********** That track was in the Forza game I used to play. LOL.
Also, I'm all confused as to whose mission this is I guess. I thought it was: bpcyclist's mission. He had his bike in the pic of a waterfall and posted the mission. Unless my eyeballs deceive me. But I read his mission like many of you where it sounds like a pro sports park or arena, and possibly even the offices of one.
My Town has a semi pro football team but they play at one of the High School's arena. So then that would make it not "Dedicated". I would like to hear if he's ok with "semi" pro though.
