Some diabolically bad photos, almost like seller trying to hide as much as possible from searches.

Pretty sure the bad photos are to hide that the frame and fork are bent.. Pretty sure the actual bike is a early 80's Nishiki International. So pretty much junk but it does have a nice set of brakes and lever's which are worth $100 give or take bit.

brake calipers do appear to differ betwixt bow & stern
other readers may be able to identify them...

I think the frame is on the nicer end as it has reinforcers on the brake bridge. Derailleur cable runs under the BB shell, helping to narrow the guessing. I would go investigate but only if the asking price is low.

I’d say there’s a chance it’s worth $170, but probably an equal chance you show up and find a basket case of a bike beyond salvage. I’d be tempted to take the odds if it was very close to me, and I’d show up ready to haggle.

Remnants of a 531 decal? Looks like pretty tight clearances (ala racing bike). The brazed on seatpost clamp says 'nicer' rather than 'cheaper' to me. I'd go look at it

In my experience dealing with stuck seat posts, 90% of them were on bikes with slammed saddles like that. This promotes water intrusion, which leads to the whole aluminum corroded into steel issue. So take a wrench with you and check.

This one is too far to go look at without really good reason. Absent a "Run, don't walk" assessment not gonna make a long trip to look, I don't "need" another. The potential for a stuck post is the nail in the coffin, that is a lesson I have been slow to learn. I saw enough that I thought I should consult the smarter folks, but not enough to add another project.

That looks to be a race frame, I say this because there are no rack or fender eyelets.

Based on the details frame geometry i would say it's a 80's Tri frame so no braze on's. Most sport or even race bikes would have some braze on or dropout mount points. So god spot point Mr. 66.
