Slight scratching sound ?
Went for a long muddy bike ride earlier and now when I pedal at one point during the whole rotation I get a slight scratch sound it only happens when pedalling quickly but never slowly
the crank is very muddy, could this be why ?
i don’t have a hose here so will have to wait until I go to family house where they have a hose

I’ve used muc off for everything around the chain area . Then hosed it thoroughly and it’s spotless however the quiet scratching is still there
seems as if it’s coming from the back cog
