Maybe, but it could have massive paint damage covered up.

For that price you'd complain about paint damage? I can understand wanting original paint in decent condition but would also expect to be paying for it these days, especially on a desirable bike. Maybe the seller simply loves mountains enough to have an I HEART MOUNTAINS sticker on his bike. If I ever get a chance to see it I will get a closeup and more details.

Isn't this the 84 model in "warm grey"?

It was built to fit my short stature (5 feet seven inches), and specially designed and constructed to be a long-distance, hill-climbing, solid touring bike.
Seller must have had short legs, because I was almost 5'9" (in my younger days, now barely 5'7") and rode a 23" Fuji S-10S with much longer chainstays (more gap between rear tire and seat tube) because I felt cramped on the next-size-smaller 21" frame.

1971 Schwinn Super Sport - $120 (denver)

I have a 1971 Schwinn Super Sport Road bike for sale with original brooks saddle. This bike has newer Michelin gum wall tires. All it needs is a back brake and its ready to go. The Super sport was hand fillet brazed in the Chicago plant. Made from plain gauge 4130 cromo awesome stuff. Frame is 61 cm or 24 inch.

Link

To me, this is a $120 Brooks saddle. To someone else, this may be a nice bargain.

The 84 catalog says warm gray and red wine for the colors. I agree, it doesn't look gray.

Full Shimano Sante groupset. well worth the price IMO

and that's the original paint job. I'd like to get my hands on one. I had a blue/white fade Altron 7000. great ride for an aluminum bike

Hell, I'm wondering should I make the 20 hour round trip drive myself. I looked at the catalog and it looks like "miyata" is not on the seat tube as the CL add shows. Curious.

A decent midrange frame, butted chrome moly tubing. probably priced at the high end of fair range but who knows what shape the BB and Seat post (basic low end Laprade post, but functional enough if it;s not stuck) are in? If the BB and headset are smooth and the seat post freely can move, it's probably worth low to mid $100s and good enough to be worth building up if it fits. Pretty sure the chain is worthless and only there because the seller lacks a chain-breaking tool.
