I have a slotted one somewhere, haven't used it in quite awhile, should be able to find it but not sure which it is, glad to look if you want and send to you, no need to send back, cup was $1 at the co-op.
These are my go to for all thread restore, have several sets for all other use's. Actual taps are too sharp and remove too much material IMO after a lifetime of wrenching and as a professional and 40 years of drag racing motorcycles where a quick, successful repair can be critical to making the next round.

Looking for a mixte frame or bicycle. Condition and make isn't terribly important, so long as it's basically intact. This will be a fixture on my trainer. As long as it isn't super huge, or super small, it should work. Yes, cheaper is better here.
Let me know what parts or whatnot would interest you in a PM. I'll edit this post to indicate if/when I have found something.

want french dia (28.00) Huret FD
Want something to match a duopar rear, no sachs labeled stuff.
Have, um, lots of stuff, most pre-click (freewheels excepted), most european, a lot of oddball stuff (want a complete positron2 rear mech, shifter, and cable?, I don't, is not euro and it clicks)/

Any intrest? Maybe for a rain bike?
I pulled a few things out of my bin that I have no plans for and wondering if anyone is interested?
Shimano Exage group.
front and rear brake calipers, front and rear derailleurs, double crank, and downtube shifters. they are pretty dirty and could use a good cleaning, they seem to be in working condition
shimano golden arrow front and rear derailleur not in the best shape, needs TLC
winpista Japanese drop bars with matching quill stem (22.2) again...not the greatest shape but definitely usable.
Black Cane creek brake levers in great shape.
PM if anything intrest you I'll shoot some pictures over.
I'll looking for a couple of things for an upcoming mini velo project (preferably the color black)
165mm - 170mm crankset
27.2 seat post
1in threadless stem
cool saddles, racks, 20" fenders?
mtb brake levers
Pedals?
Looking for trades, let me know

A possible quick fix until the original can be found might be a trip to the local hardware store for a 5 X .8 flat head bolt. HTH, MH

Yeah, The War Department sometimes gets in the way of real bike stuff. Tonight it was bringing plants in the basement to keep them from freezing. Who knew how important flowers are. Smiles, MH

Most likely 5mm x 0.8mm (compatible with SAE 10-32). Less likely, but possibly, 4.5mm x 0.75mm. 5 x 0.8 is the same as most water bottle and fender mounts. If you don't have a thread gauge, hold a water bottle mounting bolt up against the threads of the unknown bolt. If they match, you're golden.

Looking for an orphaned bar end shifter, preferably silver. Its going to be going on a 7s shimano setup so either 7s shimano indexing or just plain friction is what I need. Got lots to trade.
Thanks!

I'm looking for a spacer and nut for a Mafac Racer caliper...I thought the thing was complete until I went to mount it. The parts I need are tinted red in the image:

ISO tubular wheelset
I haven't ridden tubulars since Nixon was president, but thinking it's time to give them a try again. I'm looking for something consistent with a 1970s French bike--maybe Normandy Luxe hubs on Mavic rims or whatever?
For trade, I have a 63cm Gitane TdF frame and fork with somewhat beat-up but sound paint. No significant rust. It's a 1973, I think. No frame damage and the chrome is very good. Also a Simplex Retrofriction downtube shifter set--clamp-on type. Happy to post pictures or either or both if anyone is interested.

Still on the lookout for Suntour Cyclone bottom bracket spindle for a Suntour Cyclone double crank set. Bottom bracket shell is English threaded.

Interested, Very, but it's too dang big. Still Interested. I have wheels. Lots of wheels. Lots of tubies. I should have a set of 36h Normandies or if not, definitely Campy hubs with Mavic tub rims. Please do pictures and I'll do the same tomorrow. Then someday swap the TdF for a 58-55 TdF and build it!
