Was that chain guard part of the bike, or aftermarket? If aftermarket, what is it?

[QUOTE=Sonoma76;7609593]A 13 year old bike new in a box? That sounds like a story. Care to share?[QUOTE]

Have a bit of an interesting history. I got the Nishiki Labor Day weekend from a lady in my church. Her daughter-in-law's father passed away and there were a couple bikes in his garage. She got a hold of them (along with several other items) to donate to our church's annual garage sale.
I found out she had them through the grapevine and since I was looking for a new commuter, I went over to check them out. Nishikis haven't been produced for the North American market since 2001, but this one still had the store price tags on it and the nubbies on the tires and everything. The original price was $379; I paid $100 for it. I probably could have paid less, but the money was going to my church's garage sale so I didn't argue it.
After buying that one, I started thinking about the other bike- the old Raleigh, and went to take a second look at it. I ended up getting that one for $30. We agreed on $25, but hey, that money was going to the church too so I bumped it up a little, especially when I saw some ebay sales that showed similar bikes going for several times that amount.
So I got a "new with the price tags" Nishiki that's at least 7 years old, and a collectible 1966 Raleigh, all for $130.

My 2008 Marin Muirwoods.
Including my newly homemade trunk bag. Bought the sports illustrated duffle from Goodwill for 1 dollar, a couple of nuts and bolts for 20 cents, some hard foamboard to line the sides and bottom with for 2 dollars, and finally used some old waterproof vinyl tablecloth to cover the foamboard.
My dashboard, getting ready to add a Trustfire P7 to it...when it gets here.
Taillight and rear view of bag
Just bought the fenders today!

Just a question, how's the reelight? I've seen them on some websites here in NL as well and am quite interested in those. I'm particularly interested in how bright the lights are, as I can't seem to find that anywhere. Could you maybe take a picture while spinning the front wheel in the dark?

Greetings to everyone. This is my 4 month old trek 7000 with some changes made from the original version. Well, it's basically a single speed with a fixed derailer in the 5th gear or the ratio of 18 to 48. It's going to be a little while until I make a full SS conversion but all the basics are there, like no shiFters and front derailer.

Okay, I've made some updates to my recumbent since last posting pictures here, so here it is now:
The panniers weren't on the bike. I wanted pictures of the tires and fenders.
