Mtb fork question.

Wondering what this is. It is on a rhythm 34 front fork on my mtn bike. Curiosity has gotten the better of me. Has a set screw and looks like it can be rotated. Any help would be appreciated.

adjustment for your QR lever. if you rotate it a few notches in any direction, the optimal tight spot where you QR lever secures the wheel will be rotated. the splined bit in the fork "dropout" area is the threaded bit into which your thru-axle threads.
