ya I was gonna say that too.
as long as you aren't like murdering yourself for a pr up it or incorporating those climbs in 4 hour rides you should be able to do those three rides three days in a row.

I'm weak and slow. I promise you I can't do two mountains in a row.
I could certainly do tam on saturday and then monday night.
But this is all irrelevant because I havent seen my girlfriend in 2 months and this was a planned visit.
EDIT: and I should note that mt. tam and mt. diablo are both about a 50 mile ride each for me. So yeah, they'll take 4 hours.

u be at ontario on the 26? If so i'll say hi. I know what u look like from bf. Sho-air?
Also I doubt that I am going to drop you. Not only because we will likely be in diff races (im cat3), but because I r sprinter and aren't as strong as you might think over long efforts.
Unless we're talking about a 200m 1v1 race. I'll drop your ass hard.

Today I got the results from my cancer test, they weren't negative!
I don't actually have cancer, I just though I tanked an exam because I took it while being sick and delirious.

I apologize for the off color joke though, because it is a serious illness. I tend to be insensitive when I'm sick/exhausted/fixed gear is still broken, but at least its the weekend!

Your cog is slipping.
Today I placed a rather large order for some frames and other stuff for the shop that I think a lot of people will be stoked about.

Today I got mad at Scrod for saying vague things that get people stoked without giving any substantial information.

Yeah, cancer is a very complex disorder. Its pretty crazy how many different ways it can arise (which is why its so hard to treat). The scientific knowledge of how cancer works is getting pretty in depth, I wouldn't be surprised if there was some new treatments in the recent future. This is actually a subject that I could see my self studying in graduate school.
I apologize for the off color joke though, because it is a serious illness. I tend to be insensitive when I'm sick/exhausted/fixed gear is still broken, but at least its the weekend!

RE: cancer research, that **** is going on ever where, including at my work. clearly there are alot of research dollars out there right now.
a couple guys at my work at working an an Fe magnetite nanoparticle for cancer therapy, funded by JHU (John Hopkins).
I don't know the dirty details as I am not working on this project, but the concept is pretty simple:
The Fe nanoparticles are prepared in house (proprietary method ), and the surface is coordinated with branched polyethylene glycol molecules.
The PEG is conjugated to an antibody that bonds with some sort of enzyme present in certain types of cancerous cells, the details of which I am ignorant.
The nano particles are introduced intravenously (i think?) and accumulate at the cancer site due to the Fe/PEG/Antibody/Cancer interactions.
The patient is placed in a strong magnetic field which causes the Fe to vibrate and heat up due to it's high magnetic moment, killing nearby cells.
pretty cool.
