Photographers??

I've been out of the loop for a while and lurk from time to time to check out the photos of the bikes you've been uploading. Yes, there are some quick cell phone pix, but some have clearly been shot by "photographers" (pro, hobbyist, wannabe pro etc)...
If you're one of those "photographers"...SHOUT, maybe show your work??

Nikon something-or-another with some megapixles. Yah, I got skills. You can actually tell the small boxes are in front of the big box - depth of field - yo.

Nikon D40 with a 35mm f1.8 and a 55-200 f4-5.6

I haven't shot in a while though, it makes me sad.

MMmmmmmm....5DmkII's make me drool. Ohhh the benefits of shooting full frame! I tell myself everyday I just need to man up and buy one. I think i'd be set with the 5D and a 50 f/1.4 or 1.2.

I'm currently shooting a 50D with a 17-50 f/2.8 lens, the 50 f/1.8, 30 f/1.4, sometimes 70-200. Every once and a while i'll shoot film, very rare though.

Shot with my 50D:

Shot with film @ 50mm

I love shooting my bike, but at the same time really enjoy shooting people. Girls to be specific..haha

I would consider myself a hobby photographer. Although i'll be starting at Trek in Madison in a few weeks doing some photo type stuff in their creative department. Hopefully i'll get to shoot more and hone my skills some more.

Yes.
I used to sport nikon before I went to canon with the mkII back in 2008 (best $3000 I ever spent LOLZ)
Anyways I came from a D80 then a D90; since the coming out of the D90; used D80 prices have fallen sharply.
I recently bought a used D80 body for less than $200 shipped on ebay.

Photography is just a hobby but for the last year I've been using a Nikon D90 and usually a Tamron 17-50mm F/2.8 for digital. Prob gonna pick up a 50mm F/1.8 soon just to get a light-weight portrait lens to lug around, cause I don't have a point-and-shoot. From 2004-2010 though I used a Canon EOS 300D. That thing's still going strong but I gave it to my parents haha.

I prefer film but I haven't had time to work in a dark room for ages. I typically use a Canon A-1 for 35mm, but I also have a Yashica TL Electro X that doesn't get much use. For medium format I use a Ricohflex TLR and a cheapy Holga. I have a few vintage polaroid cameras too.

I'd post some photos but my dumb Flickr Pro account expired and now all that's on there are cat pictures hahah. Ughhhh this also reminds me I have so many rolls of film I need to develop... ughhh starting back from 2006. UGHHHH!!!!!!

Just got my first DSLR cam. It's a Canon T1i so I've read it's a pretty decent starter. I'm pretty hyped about all the things that can be done and will definitely want to invest in a few more lenses. It's great to finally have more control over the camera now. I think it was a natural move anyway cuz I would get agitated with POS and actually cared about getting shots a certain way. I gotta lot of learning to do, but I'm excited.
