Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cider Cross pic, circa 2016 at Beak and Skiff. Not a muddy year.

Your bike seems like it's halfway there. You can surely fit 32s, right? Can you do a 35?

I think it might fit 38 but I could be wrong. Def will fit 32.

Another fine fall ride done. Looks like I am on top for now, but it’s a fairly low bar if anyone wants to take it.

The package I ordered from Amazon USA is expected to arrive here by November 4. It shipped ten days ago.

If it's a shag rug, scissors.
A mix of baby powder and peroxide is used to remove stains from a granite countertop. You might try that. Leave it on for 48 hours.

Day three of five of continuous rain from a slow moving tropical storm. Makes me wish I'd completed that roller project I was so excited about. On the bright side, my roof is not leaking. And I have wheels to build. And reading to catch up on. Aerobic activity is lacking though.

It’s a Berber. The internet said use a mixture of vinegar and detergent.

Failed.

It’s just one spot and an old carpet so not a big deal.

Yup. I think that's the start of the race, based on the gang of people hanging out in the starting area.
