MORE delays #!*?

more delays from original designer of the BEST rack ever ... guess i'll settle for original and forego the designer's "improved" version

That is a bummer, because that design makes 2 great improvements over the 1UP for my use.

They use a Walmart bike for display purposes, they're obviously not taking this very seriously

One improvement is the way the clamps that hold the tires adjust. I need to move them often (I have bikes with and without fenders) and it is a little bit of a pain. The new design makes this very quick and tool-less.

The other improvement is that you can easily engage the release mechanism to tilt the rack back with bikes on it. On the 1UP, you need to unweighted the rack/bikes, and then reach under the rack/bikes to get at the release lever in the front. With the new design, you can engage the release lever from the back of the rack.

That said, all of these delays, and the fact that some of the "improvements" also seem a bit more complicated, make me want to see how these perform in the real world before I would consider replacing my 1UP with one of these.

What's the story of Quik Rack vs. 1Up? I know they are both located in SW Wisconsin, a mere 11 miles apart. I believe one evolved from the other.

The wheel size adjuster seems like a nice evolution, as does the padlock to keep your rack on. The trigger would help if you need to raise the empty rack but if you're trying to lower it and there are bikes mounted- Good Luck! Difficult for both racks. Which brings me to.....

Yeah, in the comparison video between Mach 1 and Mach 2, the Mach 1 is a clearly labeled 1UP rack

Can't add a bloody pic!
