Wild flower ride in late winter/early spring
Does any group/club do a ride that goes past the wild flowers in Central Texas when they are in bloom? I know the time they bloom can vary depending upon the weather. I live in South Central Pennsylvania and I would love to join a group doing a ride like that.

There are a number of rides that time of the year. The biggest one is the BP MS 150 riding from Houston to Austin. This takes place in late April. You can see many more at my website, Texbiker.net event calendar.

I've done this one in the past a couple of times, nice ride. I guess it was cancelled 2016 and 2017...maybe 2018??

Look for rides around Chappell Hill. I've done some springtime rides out there (earlier in the year than MS150) and the wildflowers were everywhere.

NWCC hosts the Bluebonnet Express in March. Usually some decent wildflowers on that.

The Head for the Hills ride sponsored by the Washington County Rotary Club goes out of Chappell Hill and usually has some good wild flowers except if we have a late arrival of spring or dry winter.
