[fake?]Gazelle AA-653
Hey! I found a frame made of steel, with Gazelle AA-653/Champion Mondial stickers on it. The thing is, frame doesn't look like AA-653 at all, at least when comparing to ebay pictures. To be honest it looks like cheap steel frame without any information. I made some pictures to see if its real or not. And if it's not then what could it be? Also sorry for picture quality, I had really low battery and it was very dark around, camera didn't want to take proper pictures.

Doesn't look to me like the fork belongs to that bike (no room for locknut.). No other chrome. Could be a decent fork, though without Gazelle engraving, and unknown frame, though some of the braze-ons are significant...
My guess...it's not a Gazelle. But other wiser voices will know for sure.

Caveat Emptor! Is that typical labeling for a Gazelle?

There should be a serial on the BB. See this link for serial info.
Gazelles often have a gazelle engraved on the brake bridge. Later models had the size stamped on the underside of the brake bridge. The seat stay caps don't look right. I have never seen markings like these on a Gazelle save the Champion Mondial decal. Agree fork is suspect.

This seat stay cap style has been used by Gazelle's racing department, specifically on the Trim Trophy, a "tre tubi" Reynolds 531 model. And on some frames they built for others, like Brands.
But all those frames have a Gazelle serial number on the BB shell, sometimes even accompanied by a "GAZELLE" inscription.
This looks like an OK frame (), but not like a Gazelle.
