Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Lol +1. There is something about a new light that just makes me go I wonder how bright it is. After 2-5 minutes of stars and blindness it gets a thumbs up or down depending on how blind I go for how long. Lol.

Haven't decided on tires yet. Also, BMC is currently crankless.

Geomangear has them. The plastic one is under $10. They seem to be out of the carbon fiber one at the moment. I just picked up a second one. IIRC, it was $20 and they are having 20% off sale. It is super solid. If you want a full lenght one, bdop.com also has them.

I read too many stories about the brand name bar extenders having failures and then saw my coworker with one of these.

Edit: I just saw a post with link to Minoura Spacegrip-3 and it looks like they have new handlebar extenders that look pretty well made. I'm not sure I like the quick release mount, but it looks like a better design than the original Spacegrip.
