Tribe bicycle co.
Just wanted to see opinions on this brand. Trying to decide on a bike to buy. Really like the look of the messenger series.
Thoughts?

tribe went out of business? Since when?
I like a good triple triangle frame myself too. Not to many people making them nowadays. The only other one I can think of is the BB17 transfer. I think the tribe messenger came with omniums stock which sounds pretty good for that price range

I don't think they are out of business. It says 2019 on the bottom of they're website. They haven't updated their instagram since November of last year but that doesn't mean they're over.

This is a new Messenger complete. This wasn't on their website a few weeks ago. They are definitely still going. Also this blue is nice.

No.... but I did not try and create an account.
Why not just give them a call 718.316.6410 .... look like they are in Brooklyn, New York from the phone number

I saw a Tribe Knox a few years ago. It looked like a really nice bike for the money.
https://tribebicycles.com/products/knox
The one I saw had gold hubs, crank, etc. Hence the name.
The guy who rode it was all-out, balls to the wall 100% of the time, fixed gear. He got too close to the curb and clipped it with his pedal. The bike kicked up and launched him like superman. I was right behind him. He landed perfectly on the grassy median between the road and sidewalk, jumped up, got on and started hammering as hard as he could. Pure adrenaline. The rest of us were like, "Whoa, slow down. Hey, your bar is bent. Yo, let off and take a breath." etc.
So yeah, that's my Tribe story. But the fit and finish of the Knox looked really nice and I thought about getting one for a little while.
