70 Super Course
So I have a pretty good idea of what complete bikes are worth but I'm always a bit up in the air when it comes to frames. Add on top of that a pretty sloppy repair at the downtube/headtube. I'm at a loss, Ebay? Craigslist? Or should I build it up even if I don't have era correct parts?

I recently paid 150.00 for a 1978 Supercourse frame, it was nos, never built up. Your’s would be considerably less, even with some of the components on it. I would repair the frame, paint it, and build it up, but that’s just me.

incazzare.
I guess it depends on your market, but I think in good condition in NYC I could get $100 for the frame. As it is? I'd hope for $75 or so... Might not get it. Part it out and you'll make more.

To me that bad repair job kills it, it is a $10 frame. The rest of the parts, check eBay. Brake $5, bars $10, brake levers $15, crank give away.

^^^^ What bwilli88 said. Ten dollars on a very good day; I wouldn't take it from the trash except for parts.

The repair appears someone tried to float some brass in there without doing adequate preparation.
Joint looks like it needs a sandblast so frame builder can see what they are doing wrt making a proper job of it...
Fittings - IIRC the 1970 model was still coming through with the Freres Huret Luxe gear ensemble.
If it were really a 1970 model would not the headplate be anniversary?

Now iffin you was @gugie and decided it was to be saved, you could fix it yourself and eat the repair for yourself, but you would likely have a couple of good ones hanging around already so.......

I'm with the zero value crowd I just would not spend time & money to build this bike up you can do a lot better and this is from a guy who typically builds up free salvage bikes.
