Ciocc Track Bike
Would appreciate any help dating this one. I don't find a serial number anywhere. Bought it last night. Also curious about value, but I won't be selling it. This one is staying in the collection. Will get a good clean and polish and some new tires.
Just trying to figure out if I made a reasonable purchase.

You definitely made an interesting purchase! Ciocc track are tough to find. Early 80s seems spot on.
The fork and the steepness will rattle your fillings though.

Not much help value wise but he details seem to match 79-83 track legit specs and it does have the look and feel pic wise of a true racer great find.

Thanks all. I was happy to find it. Obviously, I was happy with the price I paid or I wouldn't have bought it but have NO experience with this type of track bike and trying to get a sense of what they're worth. Searching eBay sold auctions doesn't provide a ton of data because there aren't that many that are sold. THANKS AGAIN.

That is a beautiful frame. It is an original San Cristobal probably produced early 1980's and is the most collectable of the Ciocc framesets.

Gorgeous bike. I'd love to ride it. You know that the bike is worth what you paid for it. Was the seller under duress? Are you a reasonable person? Then you made a reasonable purchase for an exquisite example. Very jealous.

I can only speculate from your location that that bike spent a bunch of days under the sun at the St Louis velodrome -- in striking distance of the Major Taylor velodrome too
But then again, these days there is no telling sometimes how stuff gets to where it gets
