Peugeot PH10

The bike is marked on the BB, PH-10.
Any idea of the year of fabrication?
Which of the components are not original to the bike?
I see that the front wheel and the seat are not original.
Thank you and in the same time i will do researches too.

that model was my first road bike of any I owned. The bike shop owner who I had sell it for me -- currently is semi-retired, as his mindset is rotted; scamming in his crave of what coinc. be "classic & vintage."

80 and/or 81. In 82 (which I had one), they had the Peugeot decal on the top tube and the black plastic, chrome silver edged, lion head tube badge.

This serial number is probably from a label taped to the frame. This serial number on its own does not contain any date information.
The label serial numbers are mostly in sequential order with date of bicycle assembly. Based on other serial numbers this Peugeot was assembled in early 1981.

There is also a frame number stamped into the frame, probably on the dropout, but may also be on the BB. The frame number has year and month of manufacturer information encoded within.

You will be able to get a date confirmation from the backside of the Weinmann brake calipers. It is marked in a clockface type symbol:
