Help w/AUTOSAG on FOX FLOAT Factory CTD shock

2016 Stumpjumper FSR ELITE 650B. Comparatively low miles on the bike. Less than 1000 total, and I had the shocks serviced a little over a year (~300 Miles) ago.
Looking for some help/feedback on setting the sag on my bike, and the Autosag feature of my shock.
To set the sag, I am supposed to pump the shock to 50lbs above my weight when all geared up. Done.
Then hop on, get settled, and press the red Autosag valve till it empties. Done-ish.
Then cycle the shock a few times up and down, and check the sag. The sag should be auto set to 25% for me.
Well, on my shock something different is happening. When I hit the red Autosag valve it releases all the air in the shock! Very weird! Has anyone experienced this?
Is there an issue with the shock, or the shock operator? Or, yes to all?
Thanks for the help
.
