Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Its interesting that Polar has had both social features and a Relive feature built into the Polar Flow web based application for many years prior to Relive.cc. They even call it Relive and I think that's where Relive.cc got the whole idea.

My point is however, that Strava doesn't seem to mind Polar having social features but clearly disliked Relive.cc doing it.

Polar Flow has groups, clubs, events, the ability to see and comment on other people's rides and runs and I can even follow other athletes and get their activities in my feed. Polar is still a sponsored Stava partner with some pretty tight Strava integrations and Relive.cc is kicked to the curb. I'm not sure what's different about Polar and Relive.cc.

As an aside, this is today's trail run; https://flow.polar.com/training/relive/3672009766. It doesn't use satellite maps or 3d but it does pull from google street view at certain points and if you hit the lap button.

This is a ride from Saturday. https://flow.polar.com/training/relive/3665651021

Of course Connect has had this for many years.

And your TSS, power curve (without a subscription!), training load, and all kinds of relevant stats without having to install a browser plugin.

Do you use a custom dashboard in GC to bring the elements you want to the forefront? To be direct, with regard to making best use of GC, I tried Strava before GC. Strava does bring certain features up front, by default, 'cause that's all they have. But the default GC dashboard does not quite do the same.

Ugh, tried to use relive stand alone and it is just horrible. Unclear that to add a picture without matching metadata you have to leave it out initially then add it as a moment. Can't delete mistaken picture and replace them. Captions show too fast to be read. And you have to struggle to do everything with a phone instead of with an actual computer.

And top the absurdity, if you log into the web interface you can't even see a list of your videos to watch.

I suspect they won't survive.

I created a few extra dashboards and have customized them heavily. I have it showing gear, goals, my calendar, reports of TSS and other things, etc.
