Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes, Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, and Blind Faith, 3 Winwood bands that were part of my experience. Also had the Dave Mason marble colored album, (Dave was a member of Traffic)

Yes, I remember the Dave Mason Traffic. I probably heard Mr. Fantasy when I was 11 or 12 and hanging around where I shouldn't have been hanging around.

I don't think you really wanna ride anything that isn't steel and doesn't have the Polska coat of arms on the fork blades.

I don't really care if its standard or daylight, but living somewhere that it doesn't change twice a year is REALLY nice.

I must have missed that

The beginning of civil twilight begins later than my alarm for like 8 months out of the year, so I'm regularly waking up in the dark.

Interesting. Your length of daylight varies only by about 3 hours across the year. We have a 6 hour variance up here at 42.2°.

It's such a weird shock to the system.

People who support fall/winter/standard time should be punished.

There's no one stopping them from going to bed an hour earlier, and making arrangements at work to show up and leave early. But unfortunately DSL is one of those things that only works, if EVERYONE does it.

Seems like a rather useless demonstration of govt power, not much different than making everyone hop on one foot for a day, or forcing them to wear certain articles of clothing. My nagging suspicion is that govt's only do this "because they can", and not for any actual legitimate public safety purpose.

The first part would be the hard one for me. Last night I got in to bed at 10 and it felt like a small miracle. Usually it's between 10:30 and 11.

I'd love to work a 6:00-2:30 shift instead of my 7:00-3:30 but I feel like I'd just end up more exhausted than I already am.
