Addiction LXXVII

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's like calling an aero road bike an "aero bike" - I can see why people would call it that, but it's insufficiently-precise.

My doc advised me to dial it down to one drink a day. I laughed too and so did all my sailing friends, including the physicians among them. Turns out it was great advice and no drinks a day feels even better.

Correct. All the recent studies suggest less is best.

I never really developed a taste for alcohol. Remember how it tasted when you tried it as a kid? Ewww... Still tastes yucky to me like that.
