Replacement bike
Recently my Bianchi Giro was stolen from my garage, so I’m looking for a replacement bike.
I used to ride it on weekends (not so much after ACL surgery) but I’m now planning to bike to work a couple of days a week.
I’ve been happy with the Bianchi but it was a lucky craigslist buy that will be hard to repeat.
I stopped by a LBS today and tried a few bikes.
I really liked a 2016 Trek Domane 4.5 CT which they are willing to price down to $1,800. That’s significantly more I was planning to spend (~$1,000).
Wondering is the Trek is such a good deal that I should consider it? Or whether I should keep hunting for a worthy Bianchi replacement within my budget?

If you had your bike stolen from garage maybe you should consider cheap comfortable beater. Less than $200 will buy you decent beater and if it gets stolen you are not at a huge loss
