Kickr Snap with 8 speed
Anyone using a Kickr Snap with an older bike, 8 speed, narrower at the axle than a newer bike. I just put my wife's bike on the snap and the axle screw started to get hard to turn as turned it further out.

I can install 130 mm bikes with gearings from 8 speed to 11 speed on my SNAP. I can't get the rear wheel attachment to close enough to attach my 126 mm bike.
If your adjustment screw gets rough, try running it in and out through it's whole range of motion, feeling for burrs or hangups. Cleaning the big screw could help it, and a cleaning with partial disassembly should let you inspect the whole length. But it doesn't strike me as a huge problem.
Try to make sure all the bikes you put on the SNAP have the same kind of rear quick-release.

Thanks. I'm using the same trainer QR on both bikes, just swapping it back and forth.

If you’ve got a QR that’ll fit a 130mm axle (and doesn’t the SNAP include one?), just put 4mm+ worth of washers between the end-cap of the QR and the dropout. It isn’t necessary to absolutely center the wheel on the trainer.
i found the stock Wahoo (or maybe KK) QR wasn’t long enough for my 135mm spaced bike, though the trainer itself should accommodate much much larger based on the amount of exposed threads on the adjustable side of the trainer.

Yeah, it came with one but got lost. I'm using a CycleOps QR which is drilled and tapped through on the non-lever side. The threaded end of the QR extends through and out a little bit. I need to make sure there clearance for the bit poking through on the trainer cup. Thanks, you gave me something to think about.
