I had stopped riding and got back on this year. I'm 68 and I'm using the Centurion to help with physical conditioning. I ride regularly. Most days just 8-12 miles which takes about 50 minutes. Considering that 4 or 5 miles was about my limit when I started, 10 miles at 12-13 feels like a great accomplishment.

I bought the yellow 1988 Centurion Lemans off of CL back in Feb. 2018 for $180. Since then I've serviced all the bearings - wheels, headset, BB, and freehub. I've had the pleasure of learning how a vintage Shimano freehub and cassette works. I've replaced brake cables and handlebar tape using R.J. The Bike Guy as my guide. I recently upgraded from the original 26 to 28.

I bought the Basso new in 1981 or so. (Don't remember for sure.) It's "Italian racing red". 60.5 cm, 74/74 degrees, Columbus SL DB tubing, full Campy, cast Cinelli lugs and BB shell, chromed Campy dropouts, chain stay and for crowns. engraved Super Record seat post, Record brake levers, engraved Super Record chain rings, Regina chain and cluster, Nisi Pro rims, Concor saddle. 40" wheelbase, 16 1/4" stays. Made in Italy of course.

Cleaned up my 1999 Trek 8000 to sell on Ebay
I cleaned up my 1999 Trek 8000 to sell on Ebay. I haven't touched the bike in 15 years. I still have the Basso and Centurion.
It cleaned up nice. I had to clean out the shifters to get it shifting into all 27 gear combinations.
