Hi from the Whiskey City!
What's up! My name's Tyler - I live in Peoria, and am one of the few proud citizens. Most folks look at me funny when I say that I enjoy riding up and down the bluffs.
I ride a single speed track bike - it's custom. ;-) I started with a cheap Walmart bike, and have been gradually replacing parts to build my dream bike. I had it set up as a fixie for a while, but had to switch over to the freewheel due to mechanical issues. I'm hoping to pick up a new rear wheel and delve back into the fixie world sometime soon!
I grew up on a bike, but really got into street riding in 2015 after watching Premium Rush. Now I try to ride to work at least 3 or 4 days a week, and take off on longer jaunts on the weekend.

Hi Tyler, welcome! The neat thing about building your own bike is not only the learning , but finding out what you really want in it and just doing it. I think that's awesome. Glad to see you joined here.

I Spent a fair amount of time on the Rock Island Trail when I was down at Bradley, Never enjoyed riding around up and down the bluffs though...
