Thanks for all those great responses. I bet its fun riding with you guys. I'd
offer you a drink but my bottle is 80% backwash.

Good! Explaining the joke immediately afterward invariably makes it funnier!

If I hosted a forum, threads with titles that end in "Discuss" or "Go!" would instantly self-destruct.

I’m guessing the original photo isn’t even from a cycling apparel retailer.

I don't even really see the connection between Rapha and Rivendell. I guess Rapha does have their "Brevet" category of clothing that makes reference to randonneuring, but that's really the only tie I see between Rapha and Rivendell. And Rivendell doesn't even make a proper randonneuring bike, since Grant Peterson has a different philosophy on fork trail.

Most of the new Rapha stuff is very modern and bike industry friendly. Heck, they support and outfit the pro EF team.

It's not a Rivendell bike. Rapha or Rivendell? Maybe, neither.

(Terrible thread is terrible.)

Does something so patently obvious count as a guess?

Fausto Coppi’s tailor was Vittore Gianni. Everything you ever saw him wear, on or off the bike, came from the one tailor shop. Best advertising slogan ever — “You’re no salami with Gianni.”

Sonny Bono had great haberdashery. That one photo justifies the entire thread. I have seen those fur vests before, hard to forget.

Long work week. The guy looks a bit unusual in that get up, right. I vote for Rivendell. Yeah, definitely a Rivendell shopper.

Explaining the joke has made it infinitely funnier, as in infinity times zero.

"Men's White Blazer, White Waistcoat, Blue Plaid Dress Shirt, Khaki Dress Pants

A white blazer and khaki dress pants are a classy getup that every modern man should have in his collection. Feeling brave? Jazz up your ensemble by slipping into a pair of white low top sneakers."
