Wow, looks like I missed a lot. Went to check my team for the first time since when we first started. I didn't know I missed something with Velogames. Wow!

looks like sagan and gaviria saved their legs a little bit for upcoming stage 4. given the finishing strait and the quick-step train's dominance, i'll take gaviria to win over sagan, even tho the finish is slightly uphill.

Update at Velogames.
I am pleased to report that the legal issue noted on Thursday 5th July has been swiftly and amicably resolved.
Should you wish to enter a fantasy team for this year’s Tour de France, please do so at the following link: https://fantasy.letour.fr/
Regards, George.

For the sake of clarity, the Velogames Grand Tour game will remain suspended indefinitely.
Well, I wish I spent a bit more time slapping together a team and reading the scoring rules there. OTOH, there is little correlation between my effort and results.
Glad to see a few folks made it into thesplinter alternate league.

Yeah the sprinters saved their efforts today. I think even Kittel got dropped by his team.
Once again, I'm impressed by Lawson!!

it's already difficult enuff to cajole, blackmail, taunt, seduce and shame people into playing as it is.

Where has Mark Crashendish been. 3 sprint stages and not even an honorable mention. I guess Merkx's record is safe.

Figures. The one year I would have gotten a good start, freakin' lawyers ruined it.

When there is so much natural selection that goes on with the entry, it is really hard to find someone who is smart enough to enter but dumb enough to pick worse than me. Pesky Darwin.

Yes, crazy how powerful and sly Sagan is.
Looking forward for tomorrow, hoping a break sticks and Uran is in it for this hilly stage 5. Craddock got tons of TV time sitting on the back lol

Concur. The interface is pretty but clunky to use. Reminds me of an old friend, but I digress....

stage 5 looks like a hoot. i feel a gc dream or two could die here (looking at you richie and nairo). a few riders i think could contend: sagan, gilbert, gva, alaphilippe, valverde, matthews (if dumou and the team let him off the leash) and kwiatkowski (ditto). i'll go with alaphilippe.

I think Nibali tries a late flyer but GVA, Gilbert, and Sagan close it down. +/- Ahlaphilippe.
If we don't hear from Valverde today or tomorrow, I don't know why he came.
Richie will survive. At least until the stage count is in the double digits before something goes sideways on schedule.
