Found this Fuji s-10 s ltd under a house + my newest a ritchey mtb
This is my new bike undergoing some major overhaul... cleaning etc... rebuilding the wheels right now, this is my first "project" bike. I'm pretty excited about it. I'm gonna keep original paint and decals if possible to keep it as original as possible. the price for the bike was FREE!!!! also I just picked up an old 84 ritchey mtn bike that needed a good home! Just wanted to share!

That's a heck of a find for your first project! Careful though, you may end up a steel addict like most the other people on these threads. Fair Warning! Usually doesn't take however.

- Before you do anything , make sure the seat post and stem are free and go in and grease them up. Then you can embark on a clean up: It should be very rewarding -there is a good bike lurking there!

Nice find. Chromoly frame (forks are hi-ten, but that's not a big deal). Looks like alloy rims too. If the bike fits, I guarantee you'll like it.

And make sure it fits. It's a tall bike.

maybe the OP is a large guy, we're out there, ya know. but i always love it when you see a large frame with the seat shoved down to the rails and the stem jacked way up- i get a comical mental image of the previous, clueless owner.

I tip my hat to you for maintaining the original paint and decals, way to go. As for the two bikes, you really need to post that Ritchey soon. It might be worth more than the average rigid fork MTB.

Oh and the paint looks rough in a few places on the FUji and the chrome is really ragged on the back but I really like the way it looks. Plus if i wanted a new looking bike I would just buy a new one! Thanks for the reply I promise to post the ritchey on tuesday.
