I think thats a fair price for one in nice condition. I've been watching for one for a little while and the ones I've seen for less were kind of beat.

That is a beautiful crank. I'd be cursing myself for getting here late but its 170 not 175 so my knees are happy its found a different home. Those cranks are close to as good as anything anywhere and if your knees like low Q, they are. You can achieve far lower Qs with good chainlines than anything I've seen in later cranks.
(Sadly, my low Q tendencies have killed a number of those cranks. Until recent years I rode quill pedals that allowed my cleats and shoes to slide inboard and scrape the crank. In summer, the anodizing would quickly disappear. In winter, road grit and boots/bigger cycling shoes wore a deep groove into the crank. At a little less than 1/4", those cranks got added to my box of scraps. Now, to save the diminishing inventory, I make stops for my quill pedals that maintain a clearance. Wearing the anodizing on a pair of Sugino 75s was my wake-up call.)
Huge Sugino fan here.

I myself have a small stash of cranks I love “just in case” and this is one of them.
This triple setup on my ‘79 Trek 710 gives a Q of 150mm.

I have a couple of these cranksets in operation, running both as compact doubles. Good stuff!

I have an AT on the Elkhorn and knew it was a decent crank but am surprised at it's value. The AT I suppose was the peak of the touring line for Sugino?
