Who would've thought ...
... that I could actually get down to 200 lbs. When I started I was 235+ and just wanted to get down to 220, and never thinking for a second that 200 was possible. This morning I was down to 208! I'm actually starting to BELIEVE!

Been there, done that. Once went from 265 to 173 at 6'2". But that was in my youth. Can't imagine getting there now, especially since (1) I am no longer in my youth, and (2) I have more muscle than I did back then. About 215 now. Just hoping to get back to 195-200.

Just take it ten pounds at a time. Remember its a lifestyle change not a race to weight loss. If I can stay disciplined to my new way of eating and living then once I get where I need to be maintaining should be easy. Also burning 1000 calories on a ride every weekend makes it even easier and enjoyable.

Excellent progress!
I'm 6'3" @ 227 (today) but was as big as 247 not that long ago - January to be specific.
Since I started riding (only a couple of months ago) I have gone from 235 down to my current 227.
I now weigh-in every morning just to see if I can eat lunch or not
I try not to eat very much garbage and/or sweets, which definitley helps, but the biggest factor for me has been reducing portion sizes.
I'm certain that I am a skinny person trapped inside this shell...
if I could only stop with the beer as eaily as I did the junk food.
Anyway, I ride 10 miles every day and although that is nothing special by itself, the combination of exercise and reduced intake have made a significant difference in my energy level not to mention my clothes fit more comfortably after losing 15 pounds.
Keep up the good work!
