Fork Chatter
I've a Ritchey Breakaway cyclocross , with a carbon fork bike. I've Avid Shorty Ultimate cantilever brakes front and rear . The rear operates beautifully , the front stops easily, but with one problem . The fork chatters, it used to squeal as well, but I went to the wide stance option with the brake and the squeal problem disappeared , however the fork chatter is still there . Any suggestion to stop the chatter ?

If you can manage it, hang the brake cable from the fork crown rather than from the top. With the stiff cyclocross fork blades, you tend to get more deflection in the steer tube, which causes variation in the brake cable tension, and results in shudder.
I cured an Easton fork of shudder that way. That one had an all aluminum crown and steerer with carbon legs, so drilling a brake hole was no big deal. I would not do that to a carbon crown.
I also found Rene Hearse (Compass) centerpulls don’t tend to shudder. I eventually replaced the Ultimates with those.

I fought shudder with carbon forks (Easton EC90) and eventually installed the TRP mini-V brakes. Best thing I did for my CX bike.

Both of the above responses are right on the money.
Mini-Vs will all but eliminate fork chatter, but a lower cable stop is a cheap alternative if you want to keep your cantis.
I mentioned this one in another thread. It bolts to your fork (assuming yours has a center hole), and is made by Tektro, I think:
