Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cycling in Provo area

Going to be going to Provo Utah area in the next month or so. I am a serious rider but cannot take bike on plane at least I don't think you can? How is cycling in that area anyone know? I am pure road cyclist and possible places to rent a bike. Has anyone ever taken theirs on a trip? Seems like bit of hassle for for sure I live in Illinois.

Enjoy! Check out:

- Vivian Park, which is part way up Provo canyon.

- Suncrest at point of the mountain.

- Loop around Utah Lake for a century.
