i'm looking for a miyata!!
figured this could go here...
i'm in search of a miyata 6-- series. 610, 612, 614, 615... i don't care. if anyone sees one for sale(reasonably priced) around NW Ohio or SE Michigan give or take 100 miles, PM me or let me know... i'm about a 59-61 frame size. i'm searching ebay and craigslist to no avail-- and ebay tends to have inflated prices.
make my dreams come true

I'll keep my eyes open. I have one and it's a sweet ride.

Miyata
I know it's not what you asked about but, I have a 914 that I would sell.
I bought it new in '87 or '88 I think.
It has been sitting in my basement for the past 12 years not being ridden at all.
I'm not sure of the frame size but it is pretty small.

aww damn,
i would totally buy it, but i need a larger frame (59-61cm)
unless miraculously it was larger than you remember it being
thanks for still reading and posting here!
at this point, i'm looking any reasonably affordable miyata to make into a touring bike

I don't know how to measure the frame but I think it's a 52.
I just put air in the tires and took it out for the first time in many years.
It doesn't look like new but it rides like new.
Still has the original brake pads!
I would like to get $200.00 for it.
Give me a call if your interested.

Bummer, 52 is a tad too big for me. To measure the size, center-to-center is often used. Measure from the center of the cranks to the center of the top tube along the seat tube.

I'll measure it when I get a chance. I only have a 29" inseam and it fits me good.

Hey JWH, I'm interested in that 914 you have. Would you be down to ship it to CA? Send me a PM.
