Here is my 55 Schwinn Tiger. The original 3 speed S/A hub has been laced to an alloy rim. New front wheel. It is great fun to ride.

Helped my friend build this small tall today. It's such a fun bike cause it rides little but feels big.

Here's a better look at how we did the fork. It works ok, but somethings not right. The fork "springs" back to the center.

That's what I was thinking. They actually look off in the picture but in person they look dead on. I used a level to double check everything, and it seems right...

Head tubes don't align. I had them aligned, tacked it together, then brazed. Must have slipped. My unbrazing attempts have failed. I so liked the oval where the two forks came together, but I don't see any way to fix it now.

is that thing hard to ride? the handles and the pedals are the same length from the seat, id like to build one but i wanna know if i could even ride it

helmet+tallbike looks wrong but this my first tallbike ride, plus my brazing skills are rough at best

Pictures make it LOOK big. I made it for the average 9 - 10 year old. There is a definite "learning curve" on riding these things. I've had grand kids and neighborhood kids use it. They like it, the only thing I changed is, turned the "stem" backwards and then have the bars straight instead of angled down. The banana seat is great for kids of different heights. haven't posted this here yet, but this is one of my other custom SpaceLiners,
a 24" version that I turned into a muscle bike with a 3-Speed S/A coaster hub.
This is an old photo, I had just finished putting it together, hadn't hooked up the shifter yet.:

Future plans include wiring up LEDs in the light-hole. I have a lens for it too.

Yes mine does the same. I intend to rebuild with linked steering like a car has when it warms up enough to work in the unheated garage. I saw pics of this style and thought it must work due to the fact that some were in use. Turns out it's not true.
