Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Same here: two specialized saddles, a spec helmet, mtb shoes and two road spec shoes. Not much else I have too many things of the same brand aside from a few Performance and Pearl Iz clothing items

Maybe not "go to" just yet, but I'm thrilled with my Bontrager shoes (ever since it became impossible to find my "go to" shoes, Lake).

Fizik stems and seatposts
Campy drivetrain.. and wheels but not as necessarily loyal to the wheels
Castelli jackets
LG bibs
Speedplay pedals
Giro shoes fit me the best
Saddles.. been all over the place, currently enjoying a Fabric carbon model

Funny thing about Spec'd shoes. My first pair were from them and they're probably the best fitting and most comfortable, but I generally avoid that brand. Sidi were my go-to brand for moto boots, but I was disappointed with the cycling shoes I got from them (admittedly lower end model).

No question about it go-to brands:
Time/Mavic for pedals, SMP for saddles, Campagnolo for road groups. Those are essentially must-haves.

Sportful and Giordana have been my first choice for kit, similarly Vittoria for tires, but I'm not really particular about those.

my go to brand would be SRAM, Spez for saddle, newbaum's for bartape, schwalbe for inner tube

Funny you should mention Sidi. They have fit my feet so well since the mid 80's that I don't even shop other brands when I need shoes.

Campagnolo (duh)
Have ridden the same Litespeed for the last 15 years - Ti for life, with some Italian steel for the occasional change
Vittoria tires
Selle Italia saddles
Shimano SPD-SL pedals
Have always had good luck with Giordana and Nalini bibs

Not at all dedicated to one brand for anything.

My drivetrains/groups are varied.
My tires are varied.
My tape is varied.
My saddles are varied.
Ive worn different brand shoes, gloves, and jerseys.

I guess the 1 thing i have loyalty to is Topeak Road Morph pumps. I have a few of them and have mounts on all my bikes.

Only purchased a handful of jerseys. Found The Pedla have the best pockets and fit.
Now waiting for them to come up with a new design I like.

The only thing I have multiples of is Compass tyres of various sizes.

Everything else? it just comes down to what fits best.

My "go to" brand is whatever is in stock at my specific budget at the time.

Shop inventory is usually the limiting factor, even on-line, available stock and pricing changes daily.

I loved my Sidi motorcycle boots too. Replaced them with Frey Daytonas. Easier to walk in but not any better than the Sidis generally.

Fortunately (?) I sold the moto before succumbing to the temptation to get a pair of Daytonas.

Giro road shoes are a must for me. Their size 42 fits me perfectly.

I also like Voler Black Label bibs for >6 hrs long ride.

I often go back to Hackensack, where I grew up, and traffic/drivers is not, uh....comforting. I wouldn't feel safe riding anything on two wheels down there.

Cannondale, Sidi, Shimano, Koolstop brake pads and Jagwire cables and housing. I have several all-or-nothing brands I use, but for those first few listed, it's who I go to first for that need.
