My new Disc Trucker
So I just finished building my new Disc Trucker. I’ll load it up with about 80kg next week to see how it handles some weight.
44’s, 1x, 11-42 and some hope.

I love my Long Haul Trucker I bought a new old stock 2008 frame in 2112 and built it up. Hope it serves you as well as mine has me

The wheels are WTB i25 with a SON front hub and WI XMR rear with DB DT spokes built by my local guy
Tires are Snoqualmie Pass w/endurance casing
Brakes are flat mount Paul Klampers, shifters are Rival, cassette is 11sp XT, rotors are 140mm SRAM. I have some 160mm icetech rotors if these don’t work.

Love the the way you got the colors coordinarted. What's the saddle? Have you used Brooks saddles - if so how does this saddle compare to a Brooks?

I remember when my black LHT frame looked that black—in 2011.

80 kg. I hope that includes the weight of the rider too, not luggage only.

They literally made permanent waves in the music scene both as an actual album and just with their amazing music in general.
I will agree on Surly making great bikes but Rush is far superior to 2012
Required listening (in no particular order):
La Villa Strangiato (their first instrumental and loads of different time signatures)
Spirit Of Radio
YYZ
Freewill
Working Man (John Rutsey was their original drummer)
Subdivisions
2112 (of course that is the whole crux of this)
Time Stands Still (if only pop could have been this good)
Limelight
Tom Sawyer (because you have too probably their most well known song)
There are tons of others but these are some good ones to get a sense of Rush if you aren't already a fan.

I rode it to work this morning and the handlebars are a bit to high so I'll have to do some spacer swapping

I didn't mind them on my Bruce Gordon..
Everything on this bike is recycled but if it turns out that I don't like them for whatever reason I'll pick up a set of EL's

I just got one for my rear tire and it almost mounted itself (unlike the Barlow Pass ELs which take a bit of coaxing).
