What kind of bike you use for commuting?

I have been using a 90s vintage specialized Hardrock set up with racks, fenders, trekking bars and slicks but I recently picked up an older Raleigh Talon CX that I am to set up as a tourer/commuter. I picked it up for $50 on Facebook market place and am upgrading some parts using parts from my parts bin. I’ll post pictures one I have enough posts to post pictures lol. I’m going to set the specialized up as a trail bike again.

That's a Globe Daily 2 - Globe is (was?) a sub-brand from Specialized for the commuter/city market. I won this bike with the National Bike Challenge back in 2012 - the front rack is aftermarket.
It's a fun bike, and surprisingly fast for an upright bike.
