50s Columbia serial number location

I own a 50's Columbia and had it restored and now I can't locate the serial number. Does anyone know the exact location before I start removing paint for no reason? Thanks!

I'm not sure about 1950s Columbia but a lot of USA manufacturers during this era stamped the serial number on the rear, non-drive side dropout.
