Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looking for any input on this website:

Groupset Shop | Group set | Cycle part | Cycle part Online | Bike part | Bike part Online |

Anyone know if it's legit or not? Can't find anything specific on the internet that says it isn't. But that doesn't mean it is as there are a lot of scams out there. Thanks.

So... it's a new company, and they only registered their website for 1 year.I'd only pay with a credit car and i'd ask the credit card company about their policy for fraud and returns.

No credit cards. Bank transfers only. Very suspicious. But I have dealt successfully in the past with such. But on those few occasions I was able to verify numerous successful transactions. Here, I can't.

So.....why would there be a large selection of expensive groupsets at a store in Indonesia? Smells like a scam to me.

I thought all Indonesian cycling web sites were a scam by default. Better to go to a reputable UK site for cheaper parts.

Those are great prices, but there's another thread going in the C&V forum about a place selling new Ultegra groupsets for only $49 - I think you should order from them OP, lol.

Seriously though I wouldnt take the chance with that site you're asking about, using a bank transfer leaves you with absolutely no protection if they take your money and ship nothing.

Way too much, yeah. Today's pithy comment at work was "No, the customer is not always right. If the customer was always right, the product would be half this price and you'd be looking for another job." I'm not sure that got a very warm reception from the team...

It's hard to believe that anyone just looking at that page would even consider purchasing anything.

A lot of scams intentionally aim for the dimmest of the dim. Why bother tending to a bunch of inquisitive nibbles when you can use bait that'll have a special few inhaling the hook, line and sinker?
