I've got the black gel bontrager bartape for my TT bike ... very comfy.
I like your blue bartape better with your bike though.

Here's where I'm at with the custom carbon hybrid. It needs a little more eye candy though... I'm thinking maybe red nipples, and a red spacer on the fork. Oh, and the word "hybrid" on the top tube in reflective red! I thought about doing a brown seat and cork ergon handgrips, but I'm not sure that would go well with the red accents.

Looking good Mike!

Claiming hybrid with that one is kinda pushing the line between hybrid and 29er and I'm all for pushing that line! You have a very nice collection of bikes. A dedicated rider of hybrids!

All that glitters is not gold. My Marin Mill Valley at the laundromat.

G,day Mikey I,m sure I remember complimenting your build somewhere before and nice it is.
There's loads of bling bits to look at on ebay like colored nuts bolts and jockey wheels thats where I got mine.

Wow, that's pretty freekin hot. I was going to suggest a blue thrown in, but noticed you have already on your forks.

Many here (in Kyoto) have been bagging me about my saddle on the Cannondale so I gave in and swapped it with my Orbea's.

Both saddles feel equal to me and I guess the swap may look better. (sorry for the road bike image)

giantcfr1,

Both of your bikes look good. The hybrid needs red nipples though. So when are you going to rebuild your wheels?

Isn't that seat-thing in front obstructing your legs from pedalling properly?

Can't seem to go to sleep, so might as well post a couple of pics. This is my 21 speed 1994 Raleigh CT400, and I'm the original owner. Been a great bike so far, though I keep thinking about replacing it with something more modern like a Jamis Coda Comp/Elite or something in that quality range.

That looks like fast bike Blacktails, it would be a shame to let go of that. Great condition too.

It was a good saddle during winter but during summer (no long johns) it was starting to get uncomfortable.

I hope replacing doesn't mean selling. You can't do that. Concider the regret factor.

That's why I've held on to it so long. I've experienced seller's remorse after selling a couple of meaningful (to me) things in the past, and years later still regret having made the sale.

Nice oldskool bike there, blacktails.
Long time since I've seen that type of front braking system.

Dawes Mirage 06' and it rides smooth. I'm surprised I got it for £200 brand new. I've done mega millage when I was living in Hertfordshire just outside London. The bike has met its match being in Scotland.

It's only four months old. I know I've done more than three hundred miles in Hertfordshire. Scotland its done way more and I've only been here two months.

How is a 2006 only four months old? Haha. Nice ride. Nice pictures. Post more pictures of your bike with Scotland behind it.

Here's one more of mine. Pit stop in Lafayette Park.
