Bike size for friend
Hi there,
I've got a friend - well he's actually kind of my boss so I'm kissing a bit of arse here.
But anyway he asked me to keep an eye out for a second hand road bike for sale that might be suitable for him. So if I do keep an eye out, what would be a good starting point size wise for a 189cm (6' 2") tall man?
Thankyou muchly.

Height alone won't be completely accurate, but you're probably looking somewhere in the 56 to 58 range, MAYBE 60 if he's all legs and no torso.
fwiw I'm 5'10" and ride a 54.

I'm 6'2 or 3 and my 57 (well 22.5") bike feels a bit small (better now that I've thrown a 140 mm stem on there and have a seatpost with more setback). I'd say 58-60cm range, roughly.
